The Hawker Typhoon is a much undervalued combat aircraft. I was lucky enough to be able to speak to folk who remembered the Typhoons at work in the Ardennes in the Winter of 1944.
Ever since, I’ve wondered why the Typhoon never got the re-evaluation that the Mosquito did in the 1960s.
